Julia Is Very Strong

Julia has being  school for two weeks since the beginning.

Yesterday evening, when we were preparing the corn making, Julia talked with me.”Mummy, I felt very lonely at school, when we played in the playground, no one played with me, I was always alone.” She was so tearing when she said that. I hold her and tried to comfort her. I told her she would make some friends in the very near future. I asked her to study English harder then she could talk with her classmates and teachers. She didn’t cry out. This let me so touched. She was very strong because when i asked her whether she still wanted to go to school tomorrow she said of course yes.

Actually, I felt very very sad. This would be so difficult for anyone. I almost cried when I talked with her. But i let my tears go back. I need to be much stronger at this time.

I need to do something. I sent her teacher  an email to let her know Julia’s feelings at school and asked for advices what else we can do to help her feel included.

Her teacher Mrs Kerber replied me very fast. And she said  she will talk with some girls in class tomorrow morning about including her at recess.  And she had also let school guidance counselor and Julia’s English language teacher notice Julia’s situation.

Hopefully, all of  us can come up with some ways to get Julia involved with her classmates.

For kids, I’m sure it is very hard for anyone to get adjust to a new school. Especially for language changing, Julia already did very goof job. And the most important thing is she never showed giving up and never said nagative  words and she kept trying hard. “Julia is very strong “.  Daddy said. “Yes, I’m so touched and I’m so proud of her.”I replied.
